Accommodations are available for persons with disabilities who are guests of the University. If you need an accommodation to attend an event, contact the department sponsoring the event, and they will assist you with the accommodation that you need. Disability Concerns will assist departments in making the necessary accommodations.
Illinois State University provides equal opportunities and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to enable full participation in and enjoyment of the available benefits, services, programs and activities. Disability Concerns will assist program units in providing accommodations for program participants.

Examples of these are:
If the request for an accommodation is one in which you require the assistance of Disability Concerns, call the office at 438-5853 and request assistance in making that accommodation. Disability Concerns will ask for all necessary information to complete the request.
Requests for these accommodations must be submitted to Disability Concerns at least 5 business days prior to the event. If the request is not submitted within this timeframe, we are unable to guarantee that the accommodation can be placed.
